　　【提要】糖尿病肌萎缩是一种少见的糖尿病神经系统并发症，主要表现为双下肢近端肌肉无力、萎缩，下肢远端肌肉极少受累。本文报道了1例双下肢远端肌萎缩的糖尿病患者，其血糖控制尚可，糖尿病视网膜病变和糖尿病性肾脏疾病均未出现，而突出表现为肌萎缩。通过继续良好控制血糖及营养神经等治疗后，下肢无力症状明显改善，其疗效尚待更长时间的随访观察。

　　Diabetic amyotrophy in distal lower extremities: One case report ZHANG Shi, XIE Yun, HAN Li-ping. Department of Neurology, Tianjing Metabolic Disease Hospital, Tianjing 300070, China

　　【Summary】Diabetic amyotrophy is a rare neurological complication of diabetes. Its main clinical manifestation is weakness and atrophy of proximal muscles of lower extremities,but distal lower limb muscles are rarely involved. This paper reported one case with distal lower limb muscles atrophy in a diabetic patient. His blood glucose was well controlled. Diabetic retinopathy and diabetic nephropathy did not occurred, but muscle atrophy was very serious. By continuing well blood glucose control and neurotrophic therapy, symptome of lower limb weakness was significantly improved. And its efficacy needs to be followed-up.
