【摘要】DN是糖尿病的主要并发症之一,也是糖尿病患者死亡的重要原因。患者体内持续的高血糖会诱导产生过多的活性氧簇(ROS),加剧DN的进展。NFE2相关因子2(Nrf2)是细胞内维持氧化应激(OS)平衡的重要转录因子,在缓解糖尿病诱导的氧化应激或损伤中发挥重要作用。

【Abstract】Oxidative stress and inflammation are two main factors in the progress of diabetic nephropathy(DN) and its complications. NF-E2 p45-related factor (Nrf2) is a crucial transcriptional factor which manipulates downstream genes that encode some antioxidant enzymes and phase II detoxifying enzymes, to maintain the redox homeostasis and cellular detoxification response. Therefore, more and more researchers are focusing on the role of Nrf2 in DN. In this review, the detailed role of Nrf2 in DN will be discussed. Hopefully, our work can epitomize recent research progress and provide novel clues for diabetic nephropathy prevention and treatment.
